About Me

Gwyneth Jones, MSc

I’m a coach, facilitator, teacher, writer and connector. I live in the magical lands of North Wales, where I grew up and which finally called my back after 16 years of being away during the pandemic. Dw i’n siaradwr Cymraeg (I’m a Welsh speaker, and I also teach Welsh on the side!).

I hold spaces where emergent communities can express their feelings about the climate emergency and the other painful things happening in our world, where we can start to reconnect to our innate wisdom, sense of interconnectedness, and start to dream of something more beautiful. I also host and produce The Story Anew video interview series, where I talk to people from around the world about how we might envision a new story for humanity (mostly this means reconnecting to ancient and indigenous worldviews, with perhaps a little bit of ‘new’).

My mission is to help reconnect people to their emotions, to each other, and to the earth, so that we can live with more authenticity, resilience, and purpose.

I’m here for you if you:

  • Are wondering “what now?” as you realise the severity of the climate crisis

  • Are feeling overwhelmed with the weight of your emotions about the state of the world - despair, grief, frustration, rage, or numbness

  • Feel the calling to do and be more in the face of the climate crisis - from connecting to sacred activism to ideas for new projects, businesses or organisations

  • Are a leader who wants to shift your organisation towards a new way of thinking that values life instead of mindless, endless growth

Through 1:1 coaching, workshops and programs, I offer:

  • Emotional support and space-holding for those who want to express and process their fear, despair, guilt, and anger around the climate crisis

  • Support and coaching to help with the many difficulties of existing in “Business as Usual” or running a business/NGO, including how to deal with self-doubt, confidence and burnout

  • Help with tapping into your authentic voice and purpose, listening to your inner wisdom and reconnecting with who you really are and what you’re here to do

  • Ecopsychology and nature connection, combined with the Work that Reconnects, for deepening your sense of interconnection with life and our beautiful planet

My Story (in a tiny nutshell)

As I child growing up in magical North Wales, I was curious, creative and loved bringing my dreams and ideas to life. I loved writing comics, making films and inventing complex stories.

From the age of 13 or so I became obsessed with psychology and happiness. That’s also when I started to explore spirituality and alternative ways of living; I was fascinated with other ways of thinking and seeing. I was also everyone’s go-to for advice and a supportive ear.

After graduating in the middle of the 2009 recession and keen to travel, I became an English teacher in Japan. Moving to a completely new country on my own was scary, to say the least. But it taught me a LOT about resilience, adaptability, and handling big, daunting life changes.

I moved to Prague after that, followed by stints of living in Romania and back in the UK. But somewhere along the way I lost my path. Fast-forward to 2016; I’m back in Prague, reeling from a sudden divorce, broke, lost, and cramming my schedule with low-paying teaching work because I was afraid to stop and really look at where I was.

All around me, I could sense the world falling apart. I had grown up surrounded by nature, but I had been ignoring that connection for years. I finally went home to Wales, sat in the mountains, and listened to what my heart was really telling me.

And what it was telling me was - the world needs healing.

So, in 2018, I decided to finally honour my calling and launch my business, get my coaching accreditation, and find out what I can do to reconnect more fully to myself, to others, and to the earth - and to help others to do the same.

My Values/Mission

You don’t have to look hard anymore to realise that we are in trouble - economically, environmentally, emotionally. In the pursuit of convenience, under pressure to keep calm and carry on, in denial of our hearts that cry out that something is wrong, we have created a society based on infinite growth - a ridiculous idea when we have a planet with limited resources.

I want to help you awaken to who you truly are and why you’re here. Did you really come alive at this pivotal time in human history just to consume and scramble to survive?

If we want society to reach its full potential, we all need to work to heal the disconnection and pain within ourselves, with each other, and with nature. Only then can we step forward into the huge challenges facing the world with courage, resilience, strength and love. Rooted, grounded, and with a calm core of inner strength and peace.
