Reawakening to Life : a Work that Reconnects workshop

THURSDAY 23rd June, 18:00 CET / 21:30 IST / 09:00 PDT: Tickets here (£30)

We are the rainforests, protecting ourselves. We are the depth of the oceans, churning out the debris of civilization. We are the bees, the flowers, the field - the entire ecosystem.

The concept of separation has been used for a long time to solidify the boundaries between human and non-human life. These days, many of us see humanity at the top of the pyramid, rather than as a fellow inhabitant of a shared biosphere. The othering of the non-human world and the forgetting of our true nature has brought us to a time where most of us have little to no contact with the world beyond our human-made technologies; where we learn to tolerate the background hum of machinery and construction to be able to listen to birdsong.

Reawakening to Life celebrates the living, breathing biosphere that we all inhabit. It is a step on the journey of coming back to life, of realizing that you are nature, and have always been.

Join us for a journey of exploration of our love for the world, with guided meditations, creative visualizations, poetry and an experience of Work That Reconnects.

With Gwyneth Jones & Shayontoni Rhea Ghosh.
